When we arrived at the Jordan Elementary baseball fields this weekend there were huge mounds of sand in the middle of the infield. Luckily someone brought along a frisbee, which we pulled out for an improvised game of Ultimate Frisbee.

I can hardly believe we are over half way through the Saturdays at Saxapahaw summer season already. This is one of our favorite ways to spend a Saturday night. If you haven’t spent an evening on the lawn, listening to music, snacking on farm fresh and local food from the farmer’s market vendors or the Saxapahaw General Store, you better hurry up. All this fun ends at the end of August.
